YS Series Y-StrainersProtect piping system components from damage caused by dirt or debris. The flow through a Y-Strainer passes through a standard 1/32" perforated screen that entraps particles while allowing the balance of the water to flow freely. Screens are ultrasonically welded for superior strength. Strainers work equally well in the horizontal or vertical position, simplifying piping system layout. A sturdy hex shaped cap permits quick, easy removal of the strainer screen when clean-out becomes necessary. FKM seats. True union design, for regular valves and strainers too, makes the valves very easy to maintain by allowing for easy removal from a piping system without breaking down the piping connections. Just unscrew the assembly nuts and lift the valve body out of the line. |
