Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI)Fuses and circuit breakers protect equipment, but GFCIs protect people and animals by immediately disconnecting the power when a dangerous condition occurs. Whether required by your local electric code or not, we strongly recommend GFCIs be installed wherever electricity is used near or in water.
