Well Screen, .010 Screen SlotPrecision slots of .040" for lake, pond and culture system screening and .010" for well usage are typically recommended. The screens are slotted horizontally to provide strength against collapsing due to sand pressure in wells and to allow more open area per foot than vertical slotting.
