This adjustable in-line heater is perfect for freshwater use and safe for indoor and outdoor applications. It features two internal 5.5 kW (11 kW total) cuper nickel heating elements that deliver up to 37,532 BTU of heat. Heater comes with an adjustable, nonindicating thermostat (60–104°F, ±2°F) and an indicator light. An internal pressure switch automatically shuts off the unit in the event of low water flow or pump failure. Minimum recommended flowrate is 12 gpm, maximum flowrate is 60 gpm. In-line heaters are 230V (power cord not included) and can be wired to operate either one or both heating coils. Draws 23 amps per 5.5 kW coil. Maximum working pressure 60 psi. Inlet/outlet 1 1/2" MNPT. No check valves or water shut-off valves should be installed in the piping from the outlet.
