This proven diffuser design is ideal for both mixing and aeration applications. Can be used in flow equalization tanks, grit tanks, aerated channels, package plants, activated sludge tanks, oxidation ditches, aerobic digesters and post aeration tanks. The unique design offers an inverted air reservoir with three rows of air diffusion ports. The standard unit has an open bottom to allow rags and debris to purge from the unit when air is supplied after shut down. The unit can also be ordered with a deflector on the bottom. Cast air inlet end has an integral hex nut and 3/4" MNPT connection. Discharge end plate is also a heavy duty casting. The entire assembly is 316 stainless steel and weighs 2 lbs.
