Tricaine®-S Topical Anesthetics (MS-222)

A great sedative for transporting, sorting and grading fish.
This is an FDA-approved, ANAD #200-226, high-grade brand of MS-222 (tricaine methanesulfonate), which is an anesthetic/tranquilizer of fish and other cold-blooded aquatic organisms. When used properly, it induces a temporary state of immobilization that is rapidly reversed when the animal is placed back in clean water.

Commonly used when handling fish during manual spawning (stripping), tagging, measuring, weighing and surgical operations.
