These RBCs (rotating biological contactors) are floating biofilters which offer unique advantages over other biofiltration methods including proven long-term reliability, low operating expense, self-cleaning, self-aerating and low head operation. Rotation is achieved with air, water or both. The floating design eliminates the need for problematic axles, bearings, motors and drives. We offer several RBC sizes and options. Stages are the tanks in which the RBC floats. Stages and lids are heavy duty fiberglass with white gel coat interior. Lids are recommended when you are heating the water, not the room. Inlet/outlet fittings for RBC stages available for a slight upcharge. FOB FL/PA. One-year warranty. Made in USA.
