Bio Chem Stars®

Bio Chem Stars® are made from a porous polymer with a patented process that forms a very fine 50–70 micron internal pore network. Bacteria grow within the star, colonizing the entire structure. One Bio Chem Star® has 33 times more bacteria growing area than the leading plastic ball.

The stars can be used to float on the water surface in external power filters, creating a wet/dry filter effect. Stars are 1" long and 1" in diameter. Packed 20 stars per box.
