Earthtec® Algaecide

Self dispensing—no need to spray
Earthtec® algaecide/bactericide, containing a high concentration of biologically active cupric ions in liquid form, will control and prevent recurrence of planktonic, filamentous and chara algae in lakes, ponds, fish farms, potable water, fountains and other water systems.

Earthtec® is registered by the EPA in all 50 states and certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for addition to drinking water.

Earthtec® contains 20% copper pentahydrate and, as with all copper based products, should be used carefully and only as labeled. Copper may be harmful to salmonids in soft or acid water as well as have a tendency to build up in members of the family Cyprinidae (minnows and carp).

It is nonfoaming and will not stain surfaces. Earthtec's® unique self-dispersing properties allow direct application without spraying. Average treatment rate is one gallon per acre foot (1 liter per 324 m³). Ships motor freight, hazmat. Made in USA. Do not use this product in waters with cyprinid and salmonid fish (koi, carp, goldfish, trout, etc.).
