Perfect Pond Plus FertilizerMaintains the perfect balance of plankton in your pond
This mixture is easy to apply, water soluble (dissolves in the upper two feet of water) and will not clump. It can be broadcast from a bank or pier or poured out of a boat; up to a 5-acre pond can be fertilized from just one location. The formulation for Perfect Pond Plus is 12-48-8 (N-P-K). Includes the scientifically designed Micro-Nutrient package and has a patent pending. Do not fertilize if undesired vegetation is present because the fertilizer will only stimulate growth. Begin fertilizing when the water temperature approaches 60ºF (16ºC), and use a 2X rate (10 lbs per surface acre) for the first application. Fertilize at 5 lbs per surface acre every two weeks after that until the pond produces a green bloom. This may occur after the first application. Once a green plankton bloom is established, fertilize as necessary to maintain the green color (approximately once a month), then continue to maintain the green color until the water temperature drops toward 50ºF (10–12ºC), usually the time of the first frost.
