Composite Sand Filters, High-RateMiami Filter's high-rate sand filters have been used in commercial pools, water parks, aquariums, industrial filtration, potable water systems, aquaculture, cooling towers, groundwater remediation and agriculture for over 46 years. All are constructed of composite/FRP. Models are available in either vertical or horizontal configurations. Vertical composite sand filters (VCOM Series) range from 42" to 93" in diameter. The horizontal sand filters (HCOM Series) are available in a 42" diameter (larger sizes up to 79" are available).
Tank assemblies come complete with overhead distributor, lower collection tubes, gauge panel with two gauges and face piping with butterfly valves. The factory-installed under-drain system and all internal piping are guaranteed for the life of the tank.
Features include a 16" man-way with bleeders, flanged connections, non-corroding composite construction, National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 50 listing, maximum design pressure of 50 psi and field reversible face piping. Fully automatic systems are also available upon request. Systems do not include the filter media or pump. |
