Currently hiring for the position of:

Lakes Technician/Outside Sales, Full-Time

Job Summary

As the Outside Sales Lakes Technician, you will use your personality-based sales abilities as well as your knowledge of the ecology of ponds and lakes to make your presentation to prospective customers.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience in an aquatic-related field.
• 5 years´ experience in a field that provides a solid understanding of the ecology of pond and lakes. 2 years´ experience in a sales field.
• Related industry experience preferred (fish farm, hatchery, pond, lake, wastewater, wetland).
• Dependable and motivated.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and telephone skills.
• Excellent command of English language (bilingual a plus).
• Intermediate knowledge of the Internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Google Earth.
• Multitask orientation.

Ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of aeration and destratification systems. Also, a solid understanding of fisheries, aquatic vegetation and aquatic herbicides. It would be beneficial to have a working knowledge in nutrient binding, storm water BMP´s and the nutrient criteria.
